Suggest Treatment For Swollen Cheek And Tooth Pain

Hello

I have swollen cheek and tooth pain on my wisdom teeth that has recently been teething.I have been taking Amoxicillin since the 27th for a sinus infection, will be taking its for another 3 days to finish a 10day cycle. No sign of sinus infection anymore. Tooth pain and swollen cheek started on the 31st. Have been taking 4-5 200mg Advil to ease the pain. I have access to stronger pain killers and antibiotic here. No fever, cheek is swollen from inside, I have difficulties chewing, glands neck/chin are swollen a little bit. Gum around the teeth is swollen. No bad smell in the area. Please help as I am in Thailand for vacation

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there is infection and cellulitis in erupting wisdom teeth giving swelling in cheek and in local part.
It also appears that inspite of continuous course of amoxicilin there is infection indicates this antibiotic is not working against this infection.
consult dentist and get examined.
He will go for higher antibiotic medicine for this infection.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine as well.
Ok and take care.
