Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Tonsils

hey doc, for 2 months now my tonsils have been corroded with that white junk but no white spots. My right tonsil has also been slightly swollen and I have not been experiencing any pain. Recently it felt like I had junk in my lungs but I wasn't coughing. That went away after a week and I've been getting whitish junk out of my tonsils...assuming its just tonsil stones...before all this happened, I had a saliva gland infection and was on antibiotics which took care of the gland infection. Have any idea what could be going on and why this has lasted for months? Thanks.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the white junk over the tonsils that also comes off seems to be tonsil stone only and inflammation of tonsil can be due to tonsil stones as bad breath and inflammation of tonsils is commonly seen when someone has tonsil stones..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and in case if tonsil stones is confirmed he can remove it manually or you can also remove it using a q-tip..
You can also do warm saline gargles, gargle with hydrogen peroxide solution in water and limit intake of dairy products for limiting the stone formation..
Always gargle after you eat anything..
