Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain swelling of parotid papilla can occur due to causes like:
1.SIALADENITISor infection of the gland and its duct.
2.CHEEK BITE.

Both these are common causes and can cause swelling, redness and pain of the affected site..

Nothing to worry as it can be resolved soon..

You can start taking a course of antibiotics for 5 days like Clindamycin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and topical application of numbing gel like Lignocaine..

In case if still it does not resolve you can consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and investigations like MRI SIalography or Sialoendoscopy can be advised for ruling out the cause and then will be treated accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
