Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 29 year old son woke up for work this morning and his lower left leg is swollen and painful and he can hardly walk. He went to work but they immediately sent him home. He does stand on his feet all day and evening and walks a lot. Anyway, he hasn t been bitten by any insects, or hurt his leg / ankle in any way. I had him elevate his leg and I ve applied ice for last couple hours. I ve looked under web md to see what it may be, but have no clue. My question is: what should he or we do? He has no insurance, but may qualify for state Ahhcccss insurance.
