Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Calf

My right calf is swelled up and is larger than the left calf with some pain and more solid feel. Both calves were swelled last week but the left one returned to normal. I suspect a med allergy as the pain came up the large tendon from the heel area. Clive

On a conservative management I suggest you can deep your leg in hot water and do use cold pack also alternatively. If the pain and swelling is to much then do visit physician and check on vascularity of lower limb as well do use pain killer and anti inflammatory medicine for time being. If you do not recover in 2to 3days then I must suggest to go for dopler to check on vascular it of lower limb.
To reduce swelling keep your leg elevated with pillow below ankle while sleeping. As well do use crepbandage to with light pressure from bottom to up side.
Hope this will be useful to you. Take care
