Suggest Treatment For Swelling On The Scrotum

hi, a couple of years ago, whilst during a sexual experience, I over exerted myself and also in the process, I ruptured a main artery in my groin area.. I felt it then.. and a few days later a huge swelling developed on the left side just above my scrotum sack. against my better judgement, I did not go to see a physician, instead, I made an incision into the swelling and huge amount of blood and what appeared to be mucus came gushing out. I continued adding pressure to the area until the swelling was gone, I then cleaned the area with peroxide and iodine, a few weeks later, the wound was healed and it was as if nothing had happened. however over the years I ve noticed a decrease in the size and fullness of my erections, yet I didn t pay it much mind. but was of late, I ve been comin up half way, and sometimes its even unresponsive. it s becoming a night mare as you can imagine, I guess what i m really asking is how would you suggest I go about initiating a conversation like this with a medical Practitioner?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The swelling on the scrotum indicate post hematoma changes with infection compressing the internal structures. The erection issue is definitely associated with that only. Immediate consultation with your surgeon is mandatory to get it cured. Wishing you fine recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
