Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Finger

Well i hit my finger on a desk and the tip of my finger got swollen, and it had a blister, and the blister popped, but the tip of my finger is still swollen. I put peroxide on it, rapped it up with neosporin, and put ice on it. My finger is swollen and my friends at school tell me to go to the hospital before it gets infected, but my parent tell me that its puss and it will pop on its own. What do i do?

Hello. Thank you for your question. The blister will most likely resolve on it's own. Warm compresses or warm soaks will help it along a bit faster. You just have to make sure you are keeping it clean so it doesn't get infected.
