Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Prostate

I have a tickle on the inside of my anus and I can not tell if my prostate is swollen or if I have inflammation or if it is something else. I had bleeding about 2 weeks ago, but when I increase iron usually that goes away. I ve been having issues off and on since December 2014. I ve seen some specialists and they have told me my prostate was enlarged. They also told me my prostate should have decreased in time by now. Male, 38, 185lbs.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Tickle inside anus and bleeding doesn't indicate problem with enlarged prostate. It is due to hemorrhoids (piles) or fissure in ano. This requires evaluation by Surgeon and can be treated by Cryosurgery.
Regarding your enlarged prostate, kindly get examined by Urologist. If it is enlarged and needs removal, you need to undergo an operation called 'trans urethral resection of prostate' (TURP).
Hope the information provided would be useful for your better health.
