Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Foot, Knee And Elbow

hello my name is XXXX thank you for your time....i am so frustrated...my left side of my body has edema bad...started in my ankle and foot worked its way up to my left knee ...now it feels weird in my left buttock area and now my shoulder and my elbow.... its most visibiably seen in my big huge ankle and knee...can barely walk and by the end of the day i am in bed....can no longer work and 8 hr day....pls tell me what type of doctor i should see...by the way i am on bp medications....

The symptoms you mentioned can be caused by osteoarthritis, vitamin D deficiency, thyroid hormone dysfunction or a multi system disease like Lupus, so I would recommend you to visit Internist / Rheumatologist to evaluate.
