Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Ankles And Feet In Bedridden Patient
A 90-year old lady, recovering from an illness and bedridden in the last 2 weeks, now has swollen ankles and feet. She responds very badly to oral medications. What can we do - through external applications or exercise, etc - to help reduce the swelling?

Hi, good morning ,I like to suggest you regarding care of bed ridden person with ankle edema. Do change the posture continuously so that she wont get any bed sores. Keep one or two pillows below the ankles while sleeping. Wrap creep bandage from ankle to leg. by doing this she will get some good relief.
