General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
It's most probably a sprain. I would suggest you to put a warm bandage on the affected area with diclophenac sodium gel. It would help in proper recovery and also make sure you don't put a lot of strain while walking or doing any physical activity.
You can use painkillers of your choice if its too tender. Ibuprofen or paracetamol would do good. You'll be alright in couple of weeks.
God bless you.

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
