Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Ears After Gauging
Hi. I gauges my ear from a 2 to a 0 yesterday, and my ear is VERY swollen and it hurts and the side of my neck and behind my ear hurts. And early this morning I took the gauge out and gooey blood oozed everywhere. I then cleaned the hole with sea salt and took a shower. What do I do to make the swelling and pain go away?

well. it is likely that your ear has become infected and you may need antibiotics for it.
you can clean the area and apply mupirocin ointment , it will reduce the infection and swelling.
but, please meet your ent doctor for the antibiotic prescription and dressing of wound if necessary.
