Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Bumps On Throat, Yellow Mucus And Post Nasal Drips.
Hi. A little over a week ago my throat was feeling scratchy, the following night I my joints and body ached and I sweated out a fever in.the middle of the night. And I was coughing green.mucus. now my mucus is yellow. I haven t had a fever since then but my throat is still sore and I have post nasal drip and a cough. I have reddish yellow bumps on the back of my throat. And one side is a bit swollen. What should I do?

Hi.
Probably you have got acute tonsillitis due to post nasal drip.
If such patient comes to my clinic i will suggest an empirical course of àntibiotics along with antihestamine and painkiller for week.
As these are prescription drugs you should visit your G.P to assess and prescribe you these drugs.
You will feel better in a couple of days.
