Suggest Treatment For Sunburn On Glans Of Penis

I am a 38 year old Caucasian male that is generally healthy. I went to a nudist resort yesterday and was out in the sun all day. I also had sexual intercourse with a female twice. I put SPF 30 sunscreen on my penis during the day but I also tanned it in a tanning bed two days ago, no sunscreen. Now this morning I have what appears to be a Sun Spot on the gland of my penis, on the top. It s purple in color, round, and the diameter just slightly smaller than a pencil eraser head. There s no raised skin. No crater. No irritation. It s not itchy or sensitive. No other symptoms other than color.

Hello,

Nothing much to worry and it will heal by itself. As of now, you can apply topical creams like silvered after cleaning with soap and water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
