Suggest Treatment For Stroke Mediated Coma

My faher 78years old suffered a stroke mid July and has been in coma since. He had his 1st stroke at age 68 from which he had recovered partially.
This time he was put on ventilator on which he remained for 3 weeks, then ventilator was taken off.
He is still breathing and other parameters are stable. However, doctors say prognosis is very poor. Now there is no further treatment, only comfort care. Howlong will my father live

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your father, looking to the history given here, if this is deep coma and since days patient is in coma then there is no specific treatment available for this, and it is very uncertain that how long patient would survive, right now good nursing care is the option remained, hope this information helps you have nice day.
I find this answer helpful
