Suggest Treatment For Stress Fractures In The Ankles

I have had stress fractures in my ankles for about two years (talus), as well as tendonitis, and cuboid syndrome. I have gone to about five different specialists, and have figured out it has come from competitive swimming the past 10 years, from flip turns (over 200 a day). We have tried everything to try and heal them but nothing has worked, a Boot, custom made orthotics, voltaren, blood tests, emg test, cortisone shots, manipulation/mobilization, ice, heat, rest, physical therapy, bone stimulator, taping, ultrasound, bone density test, etc. I don t know what else I can do to heal it, and I don t want to stop swimming forever, what should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to stress fracture.

For that you may require POP dressing after orthopedician consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Restrict your movements.

Use support while walking

Hope I have answered your query..
Let me know if I can assist you further.
