Suggest Treatment For Strep Throat And Swelling Of Neck .

I was diagnosed with strep throat a week ago was given a sot of antibiotics and given a shot of pain killer. Now my left side of my neck is swollen and my ear and throat hurts when i swallow. Could there be an infection? Or something wrong with my throid?

hello. it is likely that the nodes in your neck have enlarged due to the tonsil infection and you may need some more antibiotics. it is not likely to be due to your thyroid. thanks
