Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain With Nausea

I've had severe stomach pain for 3 days now. I can't stay asleep for longer than an hour. I can't eat much or drink much. I absolutely cannot throw up, but it feels like I need to. It feels almost like a cramp that won't release. And the nausea won't subside. I've tried ibuprofen and tums, but they only seem to exacerbate the problem further. I'm a 14 year old female.

Hello,

The most possible issue here is gastritis , which is increased by Ibuprofen medicine.

Primary guidelines at present:

- Take PPI as omeprazole (20 mg) with sips of water morning and evening on empty stomach.
- Diet measures to consume bland, vegan diet with more of liquids.
- Consult later your doctor as per the requirement and progress of the condition.
- Avoid all pain killer and NSAID medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
