It is called gastritis, or gastroenteritis if she has watery stools too. If she has no fevers, the treatment would be just supportive. No antibiotics are needed. I would recommend you from my clinical practice this medication. - Metoclopramid for the vomiting. It has been lost a lot of liquids with the vomiting so I recommend orally rehydration with ORS. Probiotics would help her to stabilize her normal intestinal flora, and ease the digestion. So take lactic ferments with of after the food. Try to keep a balanced diet, and a light diet with soups, yogurt, and foods which are easily digested. I hope your mother will be fine soon. Take care! Dr eriol.
