Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Loose Stool

hi. I have had severe stomach pains, loose stools and gas for the past 2 days. I have been taking buscopan and that sort of helps the pain but i still feel like i need to go to the toilet and nothing! I have taken imogein or something for the loose stools but now i think i am constipated. I know that i did not overdose. What's going on? Are there symptoms of lactose intolerance? As it happen half an hour after a milk shake which i don't usually indulge in... Also remedy for rumbling stomach?

Hello,

It is stomach infection (if repeated bouts after milkshake, they can think of lactose intolerance, not with one instance). Primary working tips
- Drink more liquids (avoid milk till recovery).
- Prefer soft, light diet.
- Avoid nonveg, spices, junk foods.
- Intake of PPI as pantoprazole, antacid syrup as Mylanta or others, GI antibiotic with metronidazole on the pack will recover faster.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
