Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Headaches

I had severe flu like symptoms of stuffy head with green colored discharge, fever, chills, body aches, a stomach ache and headache that was accompanied by near total incontinence. I could never make it to the bathroom without urinating on myself even when the bathroom was closeby. I am in my early sixties but had never encountered the incontinence with the flu. What are your thoughts about what is causing my condition?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* The severe incontinence is due to severe urinary tract infection, not due to flu, which is coincidental.
* Precise care with following

- plenty of liquids
- antacid with paracetamol for primary relief
- cranberry sachet
- antibiotic as per the urine culture report
- regular follow up with your family doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
