Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Bloating

Good evening Sir, Iam 21 years female, suffering from bloating, stomach pain, nausea,burning sensation, since last 2 years. Even half a loaf of bread gets me the above problem. Done endoscopy in Dec. 2013 and diagnosed as Duodentitis and duodenal ulcer. Pantocid HP Ki,t, a combination of 3 antibiotics for 14 days was given only marginal improvement, as couldn t eat anything. Then for month was given Pantocid 40 od and Lesurid 25 BD. No improvement. Then on 20th Feb. saw another Dr., Prescribed Mevebeverine Hydrochloride & Chlordiazepoxide and got relief.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear of these symptoms that you have reported. What worries me most is the fact that these ulcers have been resistant to treatment and your symptoms are never getting better. I will like your doctors to investigate you for a possible Zollinger-Ellisson syndrome. This is a condition in which so much acid is being secreted in response to a tumour in the pancreas that secrets gastrin. Ask them specifically about this if it has never been mentioned before.
