Suggest Treatment For Stomach Bloating In A 88 Years Old Person
Hi I am 88 years old but still very healthy except that at times I seem to have stomach bloat which is very uncomfortable I am 5/6 and weigh 170 I have never been so heavy and I hate it I stay active keep my own house and yard What can I do to relieve the bloated feeling
Dear; thanks for using our service , specially the spirit that you have considering your age. The intestinal movements start getting slower as we get older, so it is harder to digest the food. That is why we need to eat slower in order to get smaller pieces in the intestines. WE should avoid spicy food, vegetables as broccoli and cauliflower that will produce more gas and discomfort.Avoid carbonated drink and drink more water. You should feel better doing these adjustments. I hope that my advise has been helpful Dr.Sara
