General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Damage to the pancreas can increase the risk of diabetes so you should be screened by your doctor.

Diabetes can cause frequent urination and abnormal sensations like tingling and numbness but the abnormal sensation are usually after having diabetes for a long time.

In addition to screening for diabetes, your doctor may suggest a full blood count and also screen for autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis , that can cause joint pain and swelling.

I hope this heleps
