I woke up a few days ago with a stiff neck. Over the past couple of days, my neck has really stiffened up to the point where all I can do is look straight ahead with a slight downward tilt. I am trying to tough it out thinking it will feel better in a couple of days, but it hurt so bad last night I could not sleep. What can I do at home to help alleviate the pain. It is now getting to point where it is started to get difficult to swallow food and water.
