Suggest Treatment For Stage 4 Lung Cancer

My husband is 66. He has stage 4 lung cancer and his right lung is not functioning. He has had 1 round of chemo on 4/13 and was due to have a 2nd round on 4/20 but due to low blood count it was postponed for a week. He noticed a small amount of blood in his urine and it has increased every time he urinates, Should I take him to the ER?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Unfortunately palliative and chemo are the only options available.

The bloodstained urine can be a sign of bladder infiltration.

Consult a urologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
