Suggest Treatment For Stabbing Pain In Quadricep

i just received my mri results but to start i will give a quick history 50 year old male firefighter, started with pain in right quadracep thought it was a strain, nothing helps ibuprofen, motrin, advil, aleve after 2 months the symptom of quad pain worsen after sitting a while then getting better after walking. now pain is there all the time, sharp knife stabbing pain feels like it wants to give out on me....went to doc. xray and mri reveals l3 l4 circumferential bulge results in minor central canal and mild bilateral neural foramen narrowing the right extroforaminal component of the disc does approach the right extroforaminal l3 spinal now the main question. what should treatment be don t like pain meds, very active life want to continue soon.

After going through your query I concluded that you are having acute disc prolapse. Treatment of it is analgesic such as ibuprofen. It requires rest on flat bed.
