Hello,

I will ask you a few questions. What age is your mother? How are her sun exposure and intake of food rich in calcium and vitamin-D, like fish milk eggs? In old age, you must get an X-ray done of exactly the point at which she points for pain. Also, do her calcium, phosphate , alkakine phoshatase and vitamin d levels checked. She should at moment take some light analgesic like paracetamol with orphanedrine (nuberol forte) and very light exercise of only walking almost 10 to 15 minutes daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Faisal Bacha, Internal Medicine Specialist
