I previously had been on testosterone therapy & had to stop because of abnormal labs. I had a high RBC (7.09), Hgb (23.1) & Hct (66.1). I have been having to do have weekly phlebotomy done: (500cc s) x 4 wks & now labs are RBC (6.21), Hgb (20.1) & Hct 54.2) & will probably have to continue until Hct is in the 40 s. The hematologist hasn t given me a specific dx. originally, they thought it was Thalassemia. Do you think I ll be able to go back on testosterone & what would your dx. be??? They did a bone marrow which showed absence of iron & he had me on 325 mg IRON bid x3 months which I think led to the original elevated blood levels.

What does the following mean- Urinalysis- Mucus Profile 3+ A Few ? On my sons last blood work a year ago his complete blood count shows High WBC and High HGB and the above for his urinalysis. I understand the bloodwork but was unsure of the above. I am asking because he had a cardiac screening a year and half ago for sports and they noted some possible problems but I cannot read it. It says something like No significant sleriorruielobes seen. The enol olvertolic LV dimension is upper NL. That is all I can decipher. The issue is I found the blood work and the cardiac screening because we have notice that he has clubbed or clubbing finger and toenails. He is 19 years old and we do not remember his nails being like that before. What are your recommendations? YYYY@YYYY .

for the last 4 days, I ve experienced either a tightening or pulsating sensation located at my right temple, today I am feeling that extend from my temple to my forehead. Of course reading symptoms of stroke or aneurysm have just made me worry. I need insight on what could possibly be causing this discomfort.

I have two questions for you, if you are able and willing t answer I will truly appreciate it. I m really scared of having a stroke, and my question is: Can you have a stroke with normal blood pressure? The second question is: Can the docs see a blood clot or anything irregularity with the brain and their vessels with a CT Scan with out contrast? Went to the ER with tingling in my head and burning in my thigh, and the doc said that the CT Scan came out normal. It still has me worried that I might have a clot, my blood pressure was normal a 120 over 70.
