Suggest Treatment For Sores On Back Oozing Pus

about a month ago, i received what I thought to be 4 spider bites on my back. they were pus-filled and I used baking soda to draw the venom out. now, there is a scab over most of the area but there is a hole in my back which seems to be healing and two of the sores are oozing. Things have greatly improved -- but my husband isn t sure that it was a spider bite. what do you thing?

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Rather than a spider bite, I would keep a likely possibility of bacterial infection of the skin and soft tissue i.e a folloiculitis or a furuncle.
If I was the treating doctor I would have started you on Oral antibiotics, either flucloxacilln or cephalexin would have been my choice of empirical Oral antibiotics.
Oral antibiotics are prescription medicines and I suggest you to talk to your doctor for the needful.
Topically you may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g either 2% Mupirocin ointment Or Neosporin Ointment, twice daily.

Regards
