Suggest Treatment For Soreness In Feet

My sister-in-law s feet are so sore,it s hard for her to even walk. She went to the Dr. s, he told her she had fungus inside of her feet. The Dr. gave her cream to put on her feet, it has not helped her at all. I told her to see a podiatrist, maybe he could help her.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

I agree that she should see a podiatrist that the feet can be assessed further.

Fungal infections can cause soreness but unless the infection is very extensive, it should not affect her ability to walk significantly. If the fungal infection is extensive then she may need oral medication in addition to her topical medication.
There may be another cause present.

In addition to physical examination of the feet, her doctor may suggest imaging as well.

I hope this helps
