Hi, I'am Dr Suresh K Yadav MD (paediatrics), I had gone through your question and understand your concerns,
Stomatitis most of times related to seasonal viral illnesses or idiopathic, some times may be related vitamin deficiency . If swallowing of saliva is difficult also , there may be need for admission in hospital for IV Fluid . One also need to rule out any infection needing treatment . You have not mentioned about having fever or not ? Try to give her liquid diet . For pain you can use paracetamol syrup .
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
