I have a sore throat, not painfully sore, but uncomfortable.
My right tonsil was swollen but has gone down some.
Now there is a hole.
Is the hole normal, and what kind of sore throat can come on that fast, then just slowly

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. The hole in the tonsil can be a tonsillar crypt or a sinus secondary to peritonsillar abscess. Nothing time be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin. I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
