Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

can you acquire coxsackie virus more than once or do you tend to develop lifetime immunity. my son is ten and has a bubbly, extremely sore throat. he s had this about three years ago after his sister was diagnosed with the virus. i never had him to the doctor as the disease was self-limiting.

Hello,

It may be due to sore throat.

For that you may require complete hemogram, throat swab after ENT consultation.

Continue saline or betadine gargles twice a day.

Avoid hot and spicy food.

Keep your self hydrated.

You may require antibiotics after consultation

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
