General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to tonsillitis. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation of the tonsils. I also suggest using a saline nasal spray for antibacterial properties. I recommend to drink liquids and rest. As long as there are no white patches, there is no need for antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
