Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

Yesterday I had a my everyday sore throat when I woke up, but later on it kept on lasting and my throat felt swollen up, when I went to bed a hour early I had a fever, today when I woke up, the swelling had left after a few hours but it still hurts a bit and the fever came and left. When I looked at the back of my throat there were two white lines on the back of my throat, is it clinic worthy or something over the counter drugs and some rest can deal with?

Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having infection of your tonsil.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 to 5 days.
Empirically you can take these drugs. If symptoms persists, then please consult with your doctor and get evaluated. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
