Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Swollen Lymph Nodes

I have had a fever since Sunday.. The max temp is 101.5.. I have also had a very sore throat and it hurts to swallow.. My lymph nodes are swollen, I have sores in my mouth and I got sick to my stomach this evening.. My rapid strep test came back negative now just waiting to see what the culture says.. I was put on 3 days of prednisone to help the swelling in my throat.. What should I do?

hello, thanks for your query, throat pain with lymphnode enlargement could be due to ear, nose and throat related infections.anyway , wait for culture reports and go for d antibiotics which r sensitive. mean time continue salt water gargling, tab dolo(650mg) paracetamol for pain and fever twice daily for three days. hope I have answered your query.all the best. take care.
