Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Swollen Glands In The Neck

My 15 y.o.daughter has been complaining of sore throat and swollen neck. When I checked her throat, the epiglottis was very visible. Her throat was not red in appearance; however, it hurts deep inside. Should I be concerned about the epiglottis being visible?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have sore throat. You may have upper respiratory tract infection. You should take antibiotics treatment. Azithromycin or amoxiclav can be taken. Antihistaminics drugs like chlorpheneremine malate or cetrizine is also useful to releive symptoms. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
