I am taking valacyclovir for shingles and have a sore throat and cough. I understand these can be side effects. How do I know whether they re side effects or a regular cough/sore throat? I have four days left on my prescription of valacyclovir. Definitely helps shingles and am not thinking about stopping the med. Do feel tired and achey though and that may be caused by shingles or the med. Any advice? Many thanks.
