Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat Along With Dark Foamy Urine
My husband has had a sore throat for more than 3 months. And is unable to eat or swallow very well. Even juices are not going well for him. He is complaining of feeling sick and having pain in his bowels with foamy dark urine. He's concerned he has cancer as his younger brother did. What can be done if anything to help him and give him some relief claims he' has has no bowel movement in a week. This leads me to believe he's got issues with toxins from not moving his bowels.... I am taking him to a local doc tomorrow sometime.. Anything I can do in the meantime?
It is understandable to concerned. It is quite possible that it is not related to cancer at all but an assessment should be done to rule this out. His GP will likely need to refer him to an ENT doctor for this to be done.
In terms of the bowel movements there are over the counter laxatives that can be used for relief. Laxatives should only be used for a short period of time because long term use can cause problems. He would need to use enough fluids and fiber to prevent future episodes of constipation.
I hope this helps
