Suggest Treatment For Sore Stomach, Vomiting And Headache
hi i am just wondering if you could help me my boyfriend is experiencing symptoms of having no energy, sore stomach, (not cramps) he had eaten sushi at around 1pm and has thrown up 4 times after eating and developed a temp and slight headache and seems to feel better after passing faeces although has only done so once after eating. what are your thoughts?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history about your boyfriend having no energy, sore stomach, vomiting and stool once. This may be due to enteritis or gastroenteritis due to bacterial or viral infection. A stool tests can help to find out the problems whether bacterial or viral. If bacterial then a course of an antibiotic can help cure him. Additional treatment required is of activated charcoal tablets, probiotics, anti-emetics and whichever is required. Since there is history of no energy, it is better to get the stool, urine and blood tests done including that for Typhoid and so on as per the clinical picture. The treatment will be based on the findings of all the reports.
