Psychiatrist 's  Response
dear,
are you having intense palpitations while you experience the episode?
can you anticipate the anxiety beforehand?
how long does the anxiety episode last? for few minutes, hours or throughout the day?
are there any specific circumstances which provoke trigger these symptoms?

we are trying to rule out panic attacks l, phobias, anxiety disorder in your case, for which I need to know information regarding above.
thanks

Psychiatrist Dr. Pankaj Borade 's  Response
dear,
I would advice an initial course of a small dose of propranolol half an hour before the social performance.
0.5 mg of tab alprazolam in case if you anticipate anxiety may be very helpful.
however, cognitive behaviour therapy will greatly help you in a long run.
thanks
