Suggest Treatment For Small White Bumps On The Tongue
I have white bumps on the side of my tongue. They re symetrical on both sides. The bumps don t feel particularly sore or noticable but are visually apparent. I have what feels like a sinus infection or cold. This is a regular occurrence. Just wondering if this is indicative of a potentially bigger problem.
As per your query you have small white bumps on tongue . The symptom you mention in query occur probably due to two reasons .
- First due to orla thrush which further occur due to poor nutrition , poor oral hygiene and antibiotics in case of sinus infection or cold as you menton in query .
- Secondly it occur due to excessive dryness due infection like sinusitis as you mention in query .
I would suggest you to consult oral pathologist for proper examination and rule out causes like lichen planus and geographic tongue and also ENT surgeon for proper treatment of sinusitis . For now maintain proper oral hygiene , suck on sugar free candy and keep yourself hydrate by drinking plenty of water .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
