Suggest Treatment For Small Knots Under Armpit

For about three years I have had small knots under one armpit. It started out as one now feels like three. Tender and soft to touch. They enlarge each month during my period and become alot more tender. When my period is over, they get smaller and are not nearly as painful. I saw a surgeon who felt it quite extensively but no ultrasound. He thought it was a sebaceous cyst but there is no head . What do you think it could be?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have small knots under armpit. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like bacterial or viral infections , harmless fat tissue growths , allergic reactions , adverse reactions to vaccinations , fungal infections , fibroadenoma , breast cancer response or lymphoma . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , mammogram along with allergy test . Doctor will examine physically to check tenderness and consistency . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory , immunosuppressnats or may recommend radiotherapy in case of malignancy which is rare case . Doctor may also recommend liposuction in case of lipoma . For now apply warm compresses , keep it dry and clean and apply warm compresses . Aslo take anti histamine like bendryl twice a day .
