Suggest Treatment For Small Itchy Bumps On The Elbow

I have itchy little bumps on my right elbow, right shoulder and the right side of my back and neck. I ve scratched the hell out of the ones on my shoulder and back and now they are all broken out and covered in a red rash and scaly skin. I also have clear liquid coming out of them when they open. I ve been dealing with it for a week and I have no idea what it is or what it does. I thought it would be a psoriasis breakout - but it s only on the one side of my body. I don t have a lot of pain. the back of my head if very sore to the touch and my back is a little sore.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small itchy bumps on the elbow. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hives , meningococcemia , shingles , scabies , contact dermatitis , eczema or psoriasis. Need not to worry. For now keep your arm clean and dry , do not apply any cosmetic product and take antihistamine like benadryl twice a day . Protect your skin from direct sunlight and apply cold compresses on it.If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , skin patch test along with physical examination . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , corticosteroid along with anti bacterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis .
