Brief answer,
it could be herpes zoster,

detailed answer,
hello respected , I have gone through your question, your description matches with H.zoster that affects the one side of face(dermatome),that is painful, have blisters, and sores.

my advice is consult a dermatologist and get prescribed proper antibiotic (oral plus topical, e.g. cefuroxime 500mg 1 tablet two times a day, fusidic acid cream , for 5 to 7 days).

regarding antiviral (valacyclovir),according to books it should be taken within 72hrs, nevertheless I will suggest you take that,1gm , 1 tablet three times a day.

Thank you
