Having trouble having a bowel movement. Only go 2 x a week. I eat a very high fiber diet, lots of fresh fruit, raw veggies, kale salads 2-3 times a week. Am not over weight, walk 1-2 miles a day, put ground flax seed daily in my yogurt, take probiotics, multi-vitamins. Had a colonoscopy 3 years ago and said everything was clear, come back in 5 years. ( AM 58 years old ) Pass tons of gas, but no bloating. One thing I don t do is drink enough water but other liquids like coffee, green tea. Last year I had to go to the ER due to this issue. I take laxatives to make me go now. Don t want to become dependent on them. Any suggestions. Thanks.
