I'm a 51 year old made. I am a notoriously poor sleeper; 4 or 5 hours a night. Recently, I've developed headaches that feel very much like numbness...pins and needles sensations in the middle of my head. I usually take an extra strength Exederin and feel better but I notice they appear to be more frequent lately.
There might be many factors leading to frequent headaches episodes, including: - oscillations in blood pressure/sugar - stress/work overload - drinking alcohol, energetic drinks, coffee (especially in the afternoon)
I advise to: - monitor your blood pressure/sugar, record the results for future evaluation - try to make breaks while working - have some chamomile/valeriana sleeping mixture tea especially before going to bed - keep exercising - avoid alcohol, energetic drinks, coffee
If no improvement, should consult a neurologist for further evaluation and proper treatment.
