Suggest Treatment For Sleeping Disorder

hi, my 15 month old son has been having difficulty sleeping. He has an extremely disturbed sleep and takes a long time to go off to sleep. He is not putting on weight either. His weight has been stagnant at 10.500 kgs for the past 5 months though he is a liitle on the taller side.

Doctor asked me to stop breast feeding since he was 13months old that has not helped. He has now prescribed Junior Lanzol 1 tab/day for 7days and if it works to continue for 6 weeks. Do you think we are on the right path as he has never ever vomitted ? Could it still be GERD. I am only worried that the experiment shouldn't result in some harmful side effects ! things are already a mess due to his sleeplessness. pls. help !

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in the age 15 months baby if it is difficulty is sleeping then few common reason that needed to be ruled out like hunger, abdomen colic, respiratory distress and these really need to be treated if found positive, it is advisable to continue breast feeding, Ideally child needs to be examined clinically for other reasons too, hope this information helps.
