Hello,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I would like to know more about your symptoms as there are many types of skin allergies like urticaria, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, etc.

At present, I would like to make suggestions for you as follows:

1. For control of itching, I would suggest you an antihistamine like levocetirizine or cetirizine or fexofenadine.

2. If you have dry skin (as most of allergic patients have), I would also suggest you regular application of moisturizing lotion/cream, especially immediately after bathing to improve skin moisture. This will help reducing itching.

3. Please do not scratch itchy areas, as scratching can aggravate itching.

4. For patients with long-term skin problems, I usually also prescribe a good multivitamin-multimineral supplement especially containing vitamin A, D, E, selenium, zinc, essential fatty acids for 2-3 months which help both immunity and skin.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you. More details are necessary to make more specific suggestions.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish you the best of the health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
